THE University of Bradford is running a special event to help those considering going into higher education next academic year.

The deadline for UCAS applications for 2022 entry is rapidly approaching, with just 11 days until Wednesday, January 26.

Many people may still be deciding what to apply for, or where to go, and The University of Bradford is providing an opportunity for those queries to be answered.

People will be able to put questions to a panel of student from the university next Wednesday (January 19), just a week before the UCAS deadline.

It will take place from 5.30pm until 6.30pm and will be broadcast on the university's Instagram and Facebook pages.

The panel will consist of three current students from a mix of courses, including child nursing, medical and forensic sciences and physiotherapy sport and exercise.

UCAS states that applications for all Undergraduate courses (beginning in 2022) should arrive at UCAS by 6pm on the deadline day.

This is except for courses that had an October 15 deadline (this includes most medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine/science courses, as well as all courses at the universities of Oxford and Cambridge).

UCAS said on its website about the January 26 deadline: "This is our 'equal consideration' deadline, which means course providers must consider all applications received by this time equally.

"Universities and colleges do not have to consider applications received after the deadline, although they can if they have spaces available once the on-time applications have been considered."
