PLANS to install electric car charging points in the car park of a busy restaurant have been approved.
An application for the charging points at the McDonalds drive thru on Leeds Road, Thornbury, was submitted late last year by s Rachael Kendrew.
The two rapid chargers would be fitted in existing bays on the car park - which is off one of the busiest roads in the city.

Approving the plans, planning officers at Bradford Council said: "The proposed development will allow for the charging of plug in vehicles in a safe, accessible and convenient location without compromising the character and appearance of the street scene to the detriment of visual amenity."
