PEOPLE from Bradford have been urged to apply for the next series of a popular TV quiz show.

BBC Two's Mastermind is looking for contestants to sit in the famous black chair on the programme, presented by Clive Myrie.

Entry is open to UK residents, including Channel Islands and the Isle of Man, who are aged 18 or over.

People are also asked to offer an initial three specialist subjects for the show which will be whittled down to one, if selected.

Hat Trick/Hindsight productions, who make the show, are particularly interested in receiving applications from under-represented groups.

For an application form, email mastermind.hth@hattrick.com or go to b1.etribez.com/ag/hattrick/mastermind20/welcome

If initially selected, potential contestants will take part in an audition over Zoom, including a short general knowledge quiz, which lasts 15 to 20 minutes.

Auditions are under way, with the heats filming in Belfast this summer.

Applications for Mastermind close at midnight on Monday, May 9.
