PEOPLE in the Bradford and Craven district are being urged to 'bag and booster' to protect themselves against the symptoms of COVID-19, as infection rates continue to soar in West Yorkshire.

A range of walk-in clinics and pop-up services will be available across the district this weekend, to help make it as easy as possible for people to get the vital jabs.

Karen Dawber, Senior Responsible Officer for the Vaccination Programme in Bradford district and Craven, said: “Infection rates are at an all-time high and having a major impact on all aspects of daily life, so we are asking people to their jab as soon as possible to help to protect themselves and play their part in keeping going.

We all want to be able to return to living a normal life as soon as we can and the more COVID-19 spreads, the longer we will have to wait. Don’t forget it’s not just boosters, if you have still not had your first or second jab, these are available too. We're trying to make it as easy as possible."

Details of local walk-in clinics are available on Bradford District and Craven CCG’s website at www.bit.ly/CovidVaccineBDC or the walk-in site finder on www.nhs.uk.
