AIREDALE & Bradford RSPB Local Group are hosting an illustrated talk on a Yorkshire birdwatching hotspot - over Zoom.
The talk, entitled Bird Nirvana, by Mark Pearson, centres on the amazing birdlife at Bempton Cliffs and Filey Bay on the east coast.
“From Filey Brigg to Bempton Cliffs, one of Yorkshire's most iconic an breathtaking panoramas just so happens to be the best bay for birds on the east coast,” said a group spokesman. “It is home not only to a glittering cast of breeding sea birds - gannets and puffins included - but also a mouthwatering roll call of passage and wintering birds including skuas, divers, shearwaters, seaducks and more.”
Anyone wishing to participate in the talk should email abrspb@blueyonder.co.uk and a Zoom link will be sent.
The talk takes place on Friday January 14 at 7.30pm. There is no fee but donations are welcome.
