A POLICE motorbike team spent several hours searching for a high-risk missing person.
West Yorkshire Police's Steerside Enforcement Team - the force's dedicated initiative for dealing with anti-social and dangerous driving - helped the Shipley Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) this morning with their search.
Officers were looking for a high-risk missing person.
One of Steerside's bike units was searching for several hours and then managed to locate the individual.
A spokesperson for the Steerside Team said the person is now safe and well.
Police thanked members of the public who were also on the lookout for the missing person.
A full statement from the Steerside Team said: "This morning one of our bike units assisted West Yorkshire Police Shipley with a search for a High-Risk missing person.
"The person was successfully located by the bike-unit after several hours of searching - they are now safe/well.
"Thanks to members of the public who were also on the lookout."
