A DRIVER suffered injuries after a crash between two vehicles on a busy city centre road.

West Yorkshire Police was called to Leeds Road (A6181), in Bradford city centre, to reports of a collision at 1.08pm this afternoon.

It involved two vehicles and happened near where the road meets Shipley-Airedale Road (A650).

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "The driver of one vehicle suffered minor injuries."

The road was blocked in part by the crash and this caused congestion in the area for around an hour.

The collision was cleared at 2.39pm.

A full statement from West Yorkshire Police said: "Officers were called to reports of a collision between two vehicles in Leeds Road, Bradford at around 1.08pm this afternoon (11 January 2022).

"The driver of one vehicle suffered minor injuries."
