SOMEONE who rang the 999 emergency line saying they were going to bed has been warned they will be arrested if they continue such calls.
West Yorkshire Police's Contact Management Centre shared details of the call to highlight the importance of using 999 for emergency calls only.
The team often tweets some of the more unusual phone calls they receive from the general public.
The service tweeted: "999 call made to advise us they were off to bed...... Carry on ringing about this and you'll be sleeping in a custody cell. #Not999 #ThisActuallyHappened"
