A PAIR of life-size nutcracker soldiers, a set of Louis Vuitton suitcases and a cuckoo clock are among a bizarre set of items left behind in the lost and found at Travelodges in the Bradford area.
Today, the budget hotel chain Travelodge revealed some of the interesting items left behind in its 582 hotels including in Bradford over the last 12 months.
With the Staycation being a top holiday choice in 2021 and millions of people annually staying in a Travelodge hotel across the UK, Travelodge hotel staff have reported a significant rise in items being left behind in their hotels.
Some of the unusual treasures left behind at the Bradford Travelodge include the pair of life size nutcracker soldiers, a flower wall with the initials J & S and a wedding proposal poem.
The Louis Vuitton suitcases, an Indian wedding necklace (Mangalsutran), a cookery book full of recipes over three generations and a sack full of chocolate gold coins were left behind at the Bradford Central Travelodge.
The cuckoo clock, a confidential set of company results, a set of manuals on how to fly a plane were left in the lost and found at the Leeds Bradford Airport Travelodge.
