BRADFORD Park Avenue is recruiting a team of scouts to be on the lookout for fresh talent for its academy.

The role involves going to watch local football matches within a 10 miles radius from Bradford, and keeping your eye out for players that match the club's requirements.

Academy Technical Director, Tom McStravick said: "We're looking for people to get out around local leagues to find gifted and talented players that meet the requirements and the type of player we're looking to bring into the Academy.

Predominantly the scout will be for under 15 and under 16s with the view to get players in the club to eventually get them into the first team.

Anybody with experience in a talent ID, recruitment, coaching or even just an interest in it, we're interested in speaking to. We've had some real interest in the role so we're looking to build a team of scouts to go out to games for us."

The role is on a part-time basis with a competitive salary of £30 per match report.

Tom added: "The scout does not have to be a BPA fan, but a knowledge of our history and what we're about will be beneficial."
