A LEADING toy retailer has made a generous donation by gifting 200 Christmas items to foster children in Bradford.

PoundToy, a leading online toy retailer based in Leeds has donated a range of treats and toys, including festive chocolate, colouring books and jigsaw puzzles to Bradford Independent Foster Carers Association (BIFCA), to ensure that no child was without a gift this Christmas.

Founder and owner of PoundToy, Elliot Lumb said: “Here at PoundToy, we were delighted to work with the Bradford Independent Foster Carers Association to help some less fortunate children this Christmas.

It’s important for us to help out in our local community, and spread some festive cheer. We believe that no child should be without a gift this Christmas."

The children received their gifts with a visit from Father Christmas.

Annette Palfrey-Moore, Chairperson of BIFCA (Bradford Independent Foster Carers Association) said: “2020 and 2021 have been a very difficult couple of years for most but even more so for our children in foster care. We are grateful for PoundToy's kindness as it has allowed each of these foster children to have a special gift this Christmas. The children were delighted."

PoundToy was founded in 2016 and is a family operated-business.
