Heavy rain set to replace snow in today's forecast for Bradford, according to the Met Office
BRADFORD is now set to miss out on snow today, according to the latest forecast.
The Met Office initially forecast heavy snow and sleet showers for Bradford this afternoon, as Storm Barra wreaks havoc on the UK.
But this has now been altered to a spell of heavy rain between 1pm and 5pm for the Bradford district.
However, Queensbury is forecast to get a brief sleet shower between 1pm and 2pm today.
A yellow weather warning for wind remains in place for the UK, including Bradford, between 9am and 11.59pm today.
The main will make way for cloudy and dry conditions between 5pm and 10pm.
But the heavy rain will continue overnight from 10pm onwards, with a day of heavy rain expected tomorrow.
