A FORMER member of staff at the West Yorkshire Police (WYP) is to appear in court later this week charged with stalking a female.
Richard Marshall was based in the Digital Forensics Unit at the WYP Headquarters.
The 38-year-old is alleged to have stalked a female who was known to him last year.
After initially being suspended from duty, he has since left the organisation.
A WYP statement said: "A former member of West Yorkshire Police staff is due to appear in court charged with stalking.
"Richard Marshall, 38, who was based in the Digital Forensics Unit at Carr Gate, is alleged to have stalked a female who is known to him between January 1 and September 30 of 2020.
"Mr Marshall was suspended from duty at the commencement of the investigation and has since left the organisation.
"He is due to appear before Bradford Magistrates’ Court on Friday."
