POLICE are appealing for information over a hit-and-run road traffic collision in Leeds that left a teenage boy with a broken leg.

The 13-year-old was crossing Foundry Lane, Seacroft, from the direction of Foundry Mill Drive, at about 5.15pm on Wednesday, November 24, when a black car approached from the direction of the A64.

He ran to the pavement but fell leaving his leg trailing in the road. The car then drove over his leg causing a fracture.

The vehicle, described only as a ‘family type’ car, increased its speed and drove off.
