AFTER a chaotic week where many homes in the district were left without power, Bradford Council has said that electricity should now be restored for all.
In a Facebook post this evening, Bradford Council said: "We are advised by Northern Powergrid that electricity has been restored to all those in the Bradford district affected by the power cuts caused by Storm Arwen.
If you are still without power please send us a direct message with your postcode.
"Northern Powergrid advise there may be some temporary power cuts occurring in some places. This is this is because they have to temporarily disconnect some live lines to reconnect damaged ones.
Northern Powergrid have set up an email address & team for people to provide up to date contact details & to subscribe to an update service. The email address is StormArwen@NorthernPowergrid.com. Residents are asked to provide full name, address & mobile number
Thank you to all those who have supported communities during the power cuts."
Around 1,500 properties were without electricity as a result of Storm Arwen, which took place over the weekend.
