THE UNIVERSITY OF BRADFORD Eye Clinic, where many optometrists learn their trade, is looking to recruit patients from its staff, students and the general public.

New recruits could benefit from the latest in cutting-edge eye care technology, and also save money, with free eye tests and significant discounts on glasses and contact lenses.

Dr Neema Ghorbani Mojarrad, lecturer at the University and locum optometrist, said: “The clinic offers comprehensive eyecare services with substantial savings for staff and students of the University.

Bradford Telegraph and Argus:

“Members of the public are more than welcome in our clinics, again with a range of potential cost savings. All appointments are supervised by registered optometrists and provide valuable experience for our students.”

University Vice-Chancellor Professor Shirley Congdon recently visited the clinic to undergo an eye test and see the facilities for herself.

She said: “It is the most detailed eye test I have ever had, and I would certainly recommend this to anyone who wants a professional approach by staff who are experts in their field. The fact the clinic is run by staff who actually teach optometry, and who are actively engaged in research, only enhances the quality of what they offer.”
