METRO BANK in Bradford has announced that it will be raising money for charity this Christmas.

The store, located on Market Street in the city centre, will raise donations for Martin House Children’s Hospice, a family-led care and support for children and young people with life-limiting conditions.

Inside the bank, there will be a "Magic Money Christmas Tree" that will be covered with ‘magic’ gold coins where customers and non-customers are invited to make donations..

Cash donations will be accepted over the counter or through the Magic Money Machine and cashless donations can be made by scanning the QR code on the ‘magic’ gold coins. Alternatively, donations can be made online. Donated items such as children's clothes and toys would also be appreciated.

“As a community bank we’re proud of our commitment towards supporting our local communities during these difficult times,” explains Mark Davies, regional director at Metro Bank. “We believe every child deserves a gift for Christmas so we’re delighted to be partnering with such a worthy cause. We hope that our Magic Money Christmas Trees will inspire more people to support children in their local community and help us spread some love and care this Christmas.”
