THE police and other partnership agencies carried out an enforcement day in Bradford today which the West Yorkshire Deputy Mayor said would help 'keep roads safe'.
West Yorkshire Police's Steerside Enforcement Team tweeted: "Operation Steerside working in partnership today with Bradford Specials, DVSA Enforcement and Bradford Council - multiple offences dealt with including due care/S59 warnings, using mobiles, drugs, no insurance, no tax/MOT, not in proper control, no seatbelts, prohibition notices.
Alison Lowe, West Yorkshire Deputy Mayor for Policing and Crime, was also in attendance at the multi-partnership enforcement event.
She also tweeted this morning: "Neither the wind or rain can stop Bradford South's policing team in their quest to keep roads safe. A car being driven antisocially and an un-MOT'd van have been taken off the streets of Royds."
