A BRADFORD primary school has been getting in the festive spirit by designing their own Christmas trees.

Children and parents at Fearnville Primary School, in Laisterdyke, have put their creativity to the test with these cards and models.

Those involved have used a variety of arts and crafts to create wonderful pieces of artwork.

The school community are very proud, so much so that they will be exhibiting the festive pieces of art around the school.

Earlier in the year, Waterstones, in the city centre, recognised the fantastic work of Year 4 pupils at the Bradford school by displaying it in their store.

Pupils had been researching Norse gods, and made clay models of some of the characters, which are described in Norse myths.
