A MAN has been handed a community order after stealing thousands of pounds from a fashion store.
Hasan Zulfiqar, 24, of Water Lily Road, Manningham, appeared before Bradford Magistrates’ Court (above) to be sentenced.
He faced a charge of theft by employee and was accused of stealing £4,699 from Khaadi, which has a branch in The Broadway shopping centre, between May 5 and June 16 this year.
As part of the community order, there is a rehabilitation activity requirement and an unpaid work requirement of 200 hours.
These must be completed by November 23 next year.
Zulfiqar must also pay £95 to fund victim services and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
His guilty plea was taken into account when imposing the sentence.
