A 15-YEAR-OLD was arrested after reports of an assault on a member of security staff at The Broadway.
Police say the staff member was escorting a group of youths, who had been participating in anti-social behaviour, from the premises at the time of the incident.
A large police presence was seen outside the city centre venue after officers were called to the scene at around 6pm on Wednesday.
A picture - taken at the time - shows vehicles and officers swarmed next to the Sainsbury's, just outside of the shopping centre.
According to a source, at one stage, there were five police vehicles in attendance.
Police add that following further enquires the matter will be dealt with via a community resolution.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "Police were called to The Broadway in Bradford at about 6pm on Wednesday to a report a member of security staff had been assaulted while escorting a group of youths from the premises following anti-social behaviour there.
"Officers attended and arrested a 15-year-old male on suspicion of assault.
"Following further enquiries the matter will be dealt with via a community resolution."
