POLICE dealt with a learner driver who had a young child in the front seat.
West Yorkshire Police's Steerside Enforcement Team stopped a red Toyota Yaris on Thursday due to an unrestrained child sitting in the front seat.
However, it got worse when they discovered the driver had not even passed their test yet.
They only had a provisional licence with no L plates or a qualified driver supervising them.
The driver then had the audacity to say they thought it was fine because their test is next month.
The car was seized and the driver was reported.
Steerside tweeted: "We stopped this car due to an unrestrained young child in the front seat.
"The driver turns out to only have a provisional licence with no "L" plates and nobody supervising them.
"They thought it was okay because their test is next month.
"Car seized and driver reported."
