POLICE have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in connection to a stabbing.
Between 11pm and 11.30pm on October 28, it is reported that a man entered a takeaway in Manchester Road, Huddersfield, and began arguing with a member of staff about the food.
They then go outside and continue arguing, and the suspect assaults the victim, before making off on foot.
The victim, a 40-year-old man, returns inside to find that he has been stabbed multiple times, suffering injuries to his arm, chest and back.
He was taken to hospital and has since recovered.
Officers are keen to identify the individual in the CCTV image, as he may be able to assist with enquiries.
He is described as an Asian male of an Afghan heritage, between 5ft 7ins and 5ft 9ins tall, aged between 30 and 40 years old and of a medium build.
He has medium length black coloured hair and a short black coloured beard (short length).
He was wearing a black coloured coat and blue coloured jeans.
