BRADFORD is set to get a blast of wintry conditions with sleet showers later this week.

The Met Office is reporting that Bradford will get spells of sleet tomorrow between 6am and noon on Saturday.

Temperatures are only set to reach a maximum of 4C in Bradford on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Bradford is also included in a yellow weather warning for wind this Saturday.

The warning, in place from midnight to 6pm on Saturday, includes all parts of the UK apart from south east England.

It says people can expect some delays to road, rail, air and ferry transport and a slight chance of some damage to buildings, such as tiles blown from roofs.

The warning also says there is a small chance of power cuts.
