Crews from five fire stations called out after blaze in Shipley
FIRE crews were called to an address in Shipley last night after a blaze broke out in a basement.
Crews from Keighley, Bingley, Rawdon, Shipley and Fairweather Green fire stations were called to Highfield Terrace at 7.30pm yesterday.
The basement of the terraced house was "fully involved" in the fire, while the rest of the property was "smoke-logged".
No one was in the house at the time, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation, but it is believed to have been an electrical fault.
