A NEIGHBOURHOOD policing team (NPT) issued nine speeding tickets and one for a non-conforming number plate as part of an operation.
West Yorkshire Police's Leeds North-West NPT were out on Monday at various high-demand streets.
This was as part of Operation SPARC (Supporting Partnership Action to Reduce Road Casualties), which focuses on the enforcement of the "Fatal 4".
The fatal four includes speeding, drug and drink driving, the use of a mobile phone while behind the wheel and not wearing a seatbelt.
The roads the team focused on were Otley Road, in Adel and Bramhope, Otley Old Road, in Tinshill, Broadway, in Horsforth and Hawksworth Main Street, in Guiseley.
Officers issued nine speeding tickets in total across the day.
There were also two tickets for no MOT and one issued to a vehicle that had a non-conforming number plate (VRM, Vehicle Registration Mark).
Meanwhile, six drivers were pulled over and given warnings on their driving.
A spokesperson for Leeds North-West NPT said: "All of these offences could've been avoided very easily, had the drivers kept an eye on their speed and been aware of when their vehicle's annual MOT was due."
