PEOPLE in Bingley are getting into the festive spirit and the town will hold its Christmas market and light switch event this weekend.
The Bingley lights switch on and Christmas market will take place from 10.30am to 4.30pm on Saturday.
Organisers have managed to get a well known person from Bradford to do the switch on.
Wayne Jacobs, a former Bradford City legend and founder of Children’s Charity One in A Million, will push the plunger down for the switch on at 4.30pm.
The event will feature a lot of free fun for the family with the ever popular Santa’s land train and donkeys from Blackpool making an appearance.
There will also be Star Wars Characters appearing at the market throughout the day.
