POLICE have explained why they were seen on a Bradford street yesterday afternoon.
At 6.34pm on Tuesday, one Telegraph & Argus reader said there was a "huge police presence" on Livingstone Road, in BD2.
Police say they were at an address on the road conducting their enquiries to locate a wanted man.
They added that their investigation into the matter continues.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "Police conducted enquiries at an address on Livingstone Road yesterday afternoon as part of an investigation to locate a man who is wanted.
"That investigation remains ongoing."
