SPECSAVERS KEIGHLEY and Shipley will be playing host to Santa’s helpers this December.

On Saturday December 4 , Specsavers in Keighley will be visited by a team of Father Christmas’s best elves between 10am-3pm to spread some festive kindness and fun both in-store and nearby, gifting chocolate and candy canes to local children.

On Saturday December 11, the elves will then be doing the same at the Shipley store, again between 10am-3pm.

Raj Gill, store director of both Specsavers Keighley and Shipley, said: ‘We’re really grateful to Father Christmas for sending some of his elves next month.

"I chatted to Saint Nick, and he is sadly super-busy getting everything ready for Christmas, but he has promised to send down some of his most cheerful elves to Keighley and Shipley to get their eyes tested ahead of the big day. We can't afford any mistakes with those gifts! We know it will be a fun and magical time, and I would encourage all the kids to come down.

Both Keighley and Shipley stores are now fully open and continue to follow government guidelines during the Covid-19 pandemic.
