VOLUNTEERS from The Centre for Oneness branch of the Sant Nirankari Mission, based on Napier Street, Bradford, have donated food and toiletries to the Pudsey Community Project.

The items will be distributed to hard-hit families who are in need of basic supplies.

Volunteer Mohinder Ram said: “It was very encouraging to see the youth giving their time and energy, wanting to share and help the less fortunate.”

10-year-old Aman Chahal added: “I don’t want to see anyone hungry, we should share food, we have so much", while Ashwin Singh, also 10, said: “We enjoyed raising money so we can buy lots of food for everyone. It makes me happy when I see others happy”.

Louise Douglas, Manager at Pudsey Community Project, said “I thank the youngsters and The Centre for Oneness for their support and generosity. It’s greatly appreciated."
