A DRIVER was stopped by police after going twice the speed limit in Bradford.
The grey Volkswagen Golf was caught doing 60mph on Manchester Road - which is a 30mph zone.
PC Martin Willis, known on social media as 'Motorway Martin', was doing some speed checks on the road on the way to his usual spot on the M62.
That is when he caught this reckless driver zooming at the lofty speed.
PC Willis mentions how the road has a number of junctions and pedestrian crossings before highlighting how this could have ended a lot worse for the driver.
At 5.21am on Sunday morning, he tweeted: "Did some speed checks on Manchester Road in Bradford tonight on our way out to the M62.
"It's a 30mph limit for a reason, numerous junctions and pedestrians crossing the road.
"Hitting a pedestrian at this speed would almost certainly result in a fatality."
