AFTER a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, Bradford's annual Peace & Craft Fair will return to Victoria Hall in Saltaire on Saturday (10am-4pm).

This year will be the 17th edition of the popular fair, organised by Yorkshire CND.

In addition to the stalls showcasing local artists and crafters, and being run by charities and campaigns, the fair has live music with local musicians and choirs.

The fair is also running free circus skills workshops, as well as face-painting. Veggie lunches, and tea and cake are available all day too.

Jonas Marvin, one of the events organisers, said: “We're delighted to return from lockdown and rise above adversity so that we can offer another opportunity to showcase our much-loved Peace & Craft Fair.

"We have a unique mix of beautiful crafts, good causes to support, great food, children's activities, and fantastic live-music, both indoors and outdoors.

"Our fair, which was sorely missed last year, has become a fixture in Saltaire's calendar, and what we love about it, is that it’s not just a craft fair, though we’re always stunned by the quality and originality of the handmade craft stalls.

"We’re sure this will be a great day out for everyone.”
