DETECTIVES are appealing for information after a man was stabbed and seriously injured.
At 10.08pm last night, police were contacted by the ambulance service who had been called to an incident where a man had been stabbed at the rear of Billions shisha lounge in Cross Stamford Street, Leeds.
Officers attended and a 20-year-old man was found to have received stab wounds.
He was taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries were not considered life threatening.
Enquiries showed the victim had been attacked by a group of males at the rear of the premises in Telephone Place.
The suspects are believed to have left in vehicles.
A scene remains in place to undergo forensic examination and specialist searches.
