A SUSPECTED drink driver crashed their car into a wall in Bradford and made off from the scene on Sunday night.
The incident happened in Bradford West when a red Audi slammed into a wall.
The crash caused heavy damage to the car's exterior, near the front left wheel.
When police arrived, there appeared to be no driver in the vehicle.
Following enquires, a suspect was found nearby and was over the prescribed drink limit.
Police said the suspect spent the rest of their Sunday night and Monday morning in a police cell.
West Yorkshire Police's Bradford Special Constabulary (@WYP_BDSpecials) tweeted yesterday: "A/SO 7843 Irvin worked with @WYP_BradfordW T3 Response on Sunday night.
"Attended a report of a vehicle crashing into a wall.
"On arrival, there appeared to be no driver."
Police said the person located nearby "blew 97, over the prescribed drink limit" and added: "One in the cells."
