POLICE are appealing for information after a pedestrian was hit by a driver who went on to flee the scene in Keighley.
The collision happened on Friday at around 7pm on Ingrow Lane - which is next to Beckfoot Oakbank School.
A woman in her sixties was taken to hospital where she was treated for serious but non life-threatening injuries.
It is reported a dark-coloured saloon car was involved, but the driver left the scene.
The car involved is likely to have frontal damage, including at least one broken headlight.
Officers from the Roads Policing Unit are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed this collision or who may have information about the driver or vehicle involved.
Anyone with information is asked to either call 101 or use 101 Live Chat on the West Yorkshire Police website, quoting log 1519 of 19/11.
