STAFF at a Bradford cafe said they were impressed a daring diner and YouTuber became the first person to complete their big breakfast eating challenge.

Adam Moran, has runs the BeardMeatsFood YouTube page which has 1.59million subscribers, took on Idle Bakery & Cafe's food challenge.

The Bradford Road, Idle cafe's breakfast eating challenge sees diners tackle a huge haul of food. They have just 25 minutes to eat six slices of bacon, six sausages, four eggs, four black puddings, baked beans, a whole Tomato, three mushrooms, four slices of toast and a large mug of tea.

Those who take on the challenge are timed by staff and cannot stand up from their seat during their attempt.

Six people have so far taken on the challenge, since it started last month, with Mr Moran the only person to complete it in the allotted time and subsequently get the breakfast for free.

He completed the challenge in 16 minutes 11 seconds, posting the 10-minute video on his YouTube channel, entitled 'Idle cafe's unbeaten breakfast in a pan challenge'.

He particularly enjoyed eating the sausages but left the black pudding until last, adding 'it's the best part of a breakfast'.

The only part of the meal he did not enjoy was the large mug of tea, which he helped wash down with eight sugar cubes but struggled to open the accompanying Biscoff biscuit.

During the video, Mr Moran said: "That was yummy.

"Nobody in the restaurant recognised me. That was a splendid breakfast.

"That was one of my top three breakfasts of the last year. If you finish it, you get it on the house."

Mr Moran also has time to have a bit of banter with other diners at the challenge during his eating challenge. One person says 'He'll have a dog under the table' helping Mr Moran eat the food in the pan.

An Idle Bakery & Cafe staff member said she could not believe he became the first person to complete the challenge.

She said: "I was very impressed.

"We have had six people do it and he (Mr Moran) is the only person to complete it.

It went very fast. We have had people come into the cafe since saying that they had seen his video on YouTube

Mr Moran became the first of 700 people in 2015 to beat a Bradford restaurant's giant naan challenge - winning a week's holiday to Barcelona and £100 spending money for completing it.

On this occasion he completed the challenge at Omar's Balti House in Great Horton Road.

Customers had 35 minutes to eat a balti dish of their choice and a naan measuring 3ft by 1ft 6ins on their own.

But he completed the naan challenge in just 21 minutes 55 seconds, washing it down with a jug of water, a bowl of chicken rogan josh and a dessert of chocolate ice-cream within a further five minutes.
