A MAN has appeared in court charged with stealing a host of items from Bradford shops including meat and cheese.
Karl Baker, 35, of Laburnum Grove, Brighouse, was given a community order, including a drug rehabilitation requirement, ordered to pay £149.88 compensation and a £95 victim surcharge for stealing cheese from McColls in Wyke on June 14, 2021.
He was given a community order for stealing meat from McColls in Wyke on June 20, 2021.
Baker was given a community order and ordered to pay £14 compensation for stealing four tubs of hair gel, worth £14, from The Store, Wyke, on July 4, 2021.
He was handed a community order for stealing various meats, of an unknown value, from McColls, Wyke, on July 6, 2021.
He was given a community order for stealing four tubs of hair gel, worth a total of £16, from The Top Discount Store, Wyke, on July 3, 2021.
He was handed a community order for stealing meat and cheese, worth a total of £32, from McColls, Bradford, on July 12, 2021.
Baker pleaded guilty to all charges when he appeared at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on October 15, 2021.
