A 21-year-old man today pleaded not guilty to murdering Casey Badhams in Halifax on August 7.
Jake Wilkinson, of Furness Drive, Ovenden, Halifax, denied murder and having a knife as an offensive weapon when he appeared before Bradford Crown Court on a video link to HMP Doncaster.
The Recorder of Bradford, Judge Richard Mansell QC, remanded him back into custody until his trial on February 7.
He is accused of murdering Mr Badhams in Myrtle Avenue, Halifax. Mr Badhams, 21, was taken to hospital but died a short time later.
It is believed he had suffered a single stab wound.
