A FORMER Guiseley footballer who was forced to retire through injury received the perfect birthday present when he won £1million on the lottery.
Terry Kennedy has played for Sheffield United and Harrogate Town in the past but his persistent knee problems throughout his career forced him to call it a day when he pitched up at Nethermoor in 2018.
Kennedy - who only turned 28 on Sunday - has now gone viral after a video of him being told he had won the National Lottery jackpot emerged on social media yesterday.

It shows the Barnsley-born man in his high vis jacket anxiously waiting as a lottery staff member announces the life-changing news.
His work colleagues cannot believe what has just happened, screaming in excitement and celebration.
The video has been met by quite the reaction, gaining over 3.3 million views on Twitter.
