Adele has shared a special performance of a song from her new album 30 with fans.

Ahead of her highly anticipated fourth album release on Friday, the global star took to Instagram to share am emotional performance of ‘To Be Loved’.

Sat in her living room, dressed in a tracksuit, Adele gives an intimate performance of the new track which she has previously stated she will not perform live due to how emotional it is.

In an interview with Zane Lowe, she said: “I can’t even listen to it. I have to leave the room, I get really upset, I get really choked up.

“When I was writing it and singing it, I just envisioned Angelo being in his 30s. I guess I’ll sing it to him then.”

It is the fifth song she has performed from the new album after releasing ‘Easy On Me’ last month and performing ‘Hold On’, ‘I Drink Wine’ and ‘Love Is A Game’ in her CBS special One Night Only.

She has previously said her new album 30 is a way of talking “madly, deeply” about who she is and the difficulties she has faced following her divorce.

Speaking in the same rose garden where Winfrey conducted her headline-grabbing interview with Harry and Meghan, Adele said she had worried that the album would be too personal.

“I think the reason I’m so brave to do it in my career so far is because music helped me in any situation and I would like to do the same for people who are so alone … to be reminded that they’re not alone,” she said.

“There were moments where I was writing the record and I thought that might be a bit too private, too about myself to put out.

“But nothing is as scary as what I’ve been through over the past few years behind closed doors.

“So I’m not frightened about what people might or might not do.”
