A WOMAN is fighting for her life after being involved in a crash with a double-decker bus.
The collision happened at 11.22pm last night on the A6110 Ring Road, just before the roundabout junction with Royds Lane, in the Lower Wortley area of Leeds.
It involved a bus and a 41-year-old woman.
The bus was travelling away from the Gelderd Road junction towards Wortley.
The woman suffered life-threatening injuries and remains in a critical condition in hospital.
Police have issued an appeal for witnesses and information following the crash.
Anyone who witnessed the crash, or the circumstances leading up to it, particularly anyone with relevant dashcam footage, is asked to ring PC 3270 Kenny at the Roads Policing Unit (RPU) on 101, or using the contact options on the West Yorkshire Police website.
