A HALAL burger chain, which has a branch in Bradford, is set to expand further next year.

Mak Halal is set to open 10 stores by the spring of 2022.

Since launching back in 2016, Mak Halal has opened four branches in Birmingham and this year new restaurants in Walsall and on Leeds Road, Bradford, last month.

Expansion into London and Nottingham will take place in the coming months.

Next year Mak Halal will take their first steps out of England with locations in Glasgow and Cardiff.

Mak Halal’s menu provides food lovers with a wide variety of flame grilled burgers using 100 per cent prime beef.

It also includes a great range of pizzas and paninis along with vegan options.

A Mak Halal spokesman said: “We couldn’t be happier with the growth of our brand in the last year.

“Our latest openings have seen a strong turnout and the initial feedback was very positive.

“The fact that we’ve been able to go from a local Birmingham restaurant to getting set to expand into Wales and Scotland tells us there is a demand for the authentic taste of Halal in the UK.”
