A vegan burger
SIR - Ingrid Newkirk of "People for the Ethical Treatment (of) Animals" tells us that Vegans save the planet (T&A letters, November 8).
She concluded by saying that "it's high time we acted like grown ups, took responsibility and went vegan."
Just who does this woman think she is pontificating to us all like that? If she really wants people to support her cause then she would do better not to talk down to everyone as she does, as though we were all imbeciles with no opinions of our own.
