A TV series following Bradford music sensations Bad Boy Chiller Crew on their recent UK tour debuts on Monday night.

The six-part series, named after the Bradford rap crew, airs its first episode on ITV2 at 10pm on Monday, November 8.

It follows the latest step in the fledgling career of the bassline trio, who started making skits on social media and have become one of the UK’s hottest new music groups.

The cameras are with BBCC - Gareth Kelly, Clive and Kane - on their sell out tour which took place last month and included a packed homecoming show at the historic St George’s Hall, their biggest show in the city to date.

In the past 12 months they've put out debut album Full Wack No Brakes, EP Charva Anthems and a whole host of singles, been played on BBC Radio 1, and drew huge crowds to their sets at Reading and Leeds Festivals, as well as headlining Bradford Dance Festival.

In the first 45 minute episode expect plenty of jokes and strong language as the close friends balance their new-found fame with staying true to their roots on the estates of Bradford.

While BBCC have proven divisive due to the lyrical content of their tracks, which focuses largely on drinking, drugs, driving fast cars and avoiding police, their catchy tunes and fast-flowing lyrics have been largely popular with fans in Bradford and now across the country, and the new show will also likely be a hit with their fanbase.

Previewing the series, ITV's Satmohan Panesar, Commissioning Editor Factual Entertainment, said: “They’re called the Bad Boy Chiller Crew for a reason…with outrageous hijinks and raw talent the boys will be sure to provoke and delight in equal measures.

“Bad Boy Chiller Crew are on the cusp of wave and this is their story; from hometown heroes to the country’s next big thing.”

Executive producers Nat Hill and Howard Cohen added: “The series will shine a light on the camaraderie, talent and lives of these Bradford born and bred rappers.

“They have been described by their own entourage as a ‘working class triumph’ and this series will follow how they juggle fame with sticking to their roots.”

Catch Bad Boy Chiller Crew on ITV2 at 10pm every Monday for the next six weeks.
