A MAN has appeared in court charged with the murder of a woman.
Thomas Nutt, 45, of Shirley Grove, Lightcliffe, near Brighouse, appeared at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court today.
Nutt has been charged with the murder of Dawn Walker, 52, of Halifax.
In the hearing, that lasted less than two minutes, Nutt spoke only to confirm his name, address and date of birth.
Nutt has been remanded in custody and will next appear at Bradford Crown Court tomorrow.
Police believe the death occurred between Wednesday, October 27 and Sunday, October 31.
The Homicide and Major Enquiry Team is continuing its investigation into the death.
The body of Dawn was found at around 4.38pm on Sunday, October 31, near to Aysgarth Avenue, Lightcliffe.
