A MIRFIELD girl who has won a number of beauty pageants is trying to change the world for the better.
Layla-Rose Farrar, 5, is Miss Diamond West Yorkshire 2021/2022 and is now taking aim at the Miss Diamond regional competition which will be held in October 2022.
As a Miss Diamond model, Layla-Rose is also competing in pageants all over the country and has so far raised over £500 for charitable causes.
"She's got more crowns than I can count," said her mum Jade Brogden. "She's so busy, but it's more than a crown for her. She's worked so hard and loves the fundraising. At such a young age she is trying to change the world for the better."
She donates to clothing and food banks and is raising money for Calderdale Neonatal Unit.
