Anya, Female

Bradford Telegraph and Argus: Anya (RSPCA)Anya (RSPCA)

1 year old

Anya is a gentle giant looking for her perfect home. She is a Tibetan mastiff which is a rare find in this country. For this reason she can only go to someone who has got either breed experience or someone who is prepared to make extensive research on this particular breed. They have very specific needs and requires someone who is confident around large breeds.

She is loyal, affectionate and very clever, but sadly has an ongoing problem with her hips which means her life expectancy is shorter than other young dogs her age. She is currently on medication for this, and she is still happy and carefree.

She needs a home with a very secure garden as she loves to be outside, and preferably an adult only home or a home with older aged children. She could live with another medium/large calm dog.

Diesel, Male

Bradford Telegraph and Argus: Diesel (RSPCA)Diesel (RSPCA)

4 years old

Diesel is a really happy boy who would love a secure garden to play in. He would prefer a quiet, active home with older children and no other pets. He settles well so could be left alone for short periods of time.

Bob, Male

Bradford Telegraph and Argus: Bob (RSPCA)Bob (RSPCA)

16 years old

Bob is looking for a lovely home to spend his twilight years. He is a sensitive soul and is looking for a adult only home so he can relax in peace.

He takes a while to settle, but it won’t be long before he’s demanding bum scratches. He likes short walks and would love a secure garden so in the warmer months he can potter about.

As he is over 10, Bob can be adopted on the EARS scheme.
