A MAN had to be rescued after getting trapped in a car after an accident at a stately home.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue say they were called out at about 8.17am today (October 25) to Castle Howard near Malton after reports of a crash.
The road was closed at the gatehouse and emergency services were called in.

A spokesman for the service said: "Fire crews from York and Huntington released a man after he was trapped in a car after a single vehicle road traffic collision.
"Tools were used to release him."
The extent of the man's injuries are not known at this time.
