POLICE have completed their investigation into a report of a schoolgirl being approached by a man in a white van in Wibsey, which was said to have occurred at about 7.30am last Thursday.
Detectives have carried out further enquiries and can now confirm this did not happen.
The girl and her parents have been spoken to regarding this report and the crime recorded has been filed.
Officers would like to remind the public that all reports of such incidents are taken seriously and will be thoroughly investigated.
