BRADFORD Bosom Friends group is hoping to be able to meet up again next month.

The group which provides friendship, help and support to those with breast cancer and their families have remained busy, however, whilst not able to meet in recent months.

Members have continued to make the special cushion sets which the breast care nurses give to women about to undergo breast surgery.

The heart-shaped cushions can be used to relieve pressure and tension or prevent rubbing from a seat belt. They also contain a heartfelt message from the group with contact details and information on the meetings.

Secretary Liz Carrington explained: "We are hoping to be back at our usual venue at Cancer Support Yorkshire, in Smith Lane, by Bradford Royal Infirmary, for the next meeting at 7pm on Wednesday, November 17.

"This will be for our annual Christmas gift sale and our usual cup of tea and a natter."
